Calls to stop the bloodshed in Iraq

Popular Organizations and Vocational Associations in Syria Demanded yesterday an immediate halt to the U.S- British aggressive war against Iraq. They called for "an immediate end to the U.S policy of bloodshed and destruction in Iraq."

These organizations condemned, in an appeal to U.S people, "the aggressive and unjustifiable war against our people in Iraq."

This war that represents an apparent breach to U.N Charter and International law, the appeal stated.

Meanwhile, the General Women Union insisted his support for the Iraqi steadfastness. It asserted his solidarity with Iraqi women vis - a - vis the U.S- British aggression against Iraq.

The Union appealed, in a statement, to Arab and World women and their governments to support the Palestinian and Iraqi women confronting the policy of force and dominance.
