On opening Nisbin border gate between Syria, Turkey

The head official for Nisbin district of the governorate of Mardin, south east of Turkey, Omar Olo, said that Turkey is waiting for a Syrian reply in order to open the border gate in Nisbin for transit passage. Olo said that a protocol was signed between officials at the Turkish foreign ministry and Syrian officials concerning transit passage.
In a statement to the correspondent of Anadolia news agency in Deyar Baker on Sunday evening, Olo continued that the Turkish side had made intensive efforts along the seven past months in order to open Nisbin border Gate and that all preparations were completed at a cost of 500 billion Turkish pounds.
He explained that after the completion of this project, Turkish- Syrian relations, which have recently a tangible progress, will be better, while trade life in Nisbin will flourish.
