Syria appoints 27 diplomats in 24 countries

Well-informed sources in Damascus said that the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara appointed 27 diplomats in 24 capitals, only four of them are to Arab states, while the others were accredited to East Asia, Europe and southern American.
The decision stated to transfer diplomat employees from the central administration at the foreign ministry in Damascus to foreign missions. Most of them are at the grade of commissioned ministers, or ministers advisors.
Among the countries which received diplomats are Korea and Iran as well as Switzerland. The decision also stated to transfer nine diplomats among the Syrian diplomatic missions abroad.
