Mauritania president confers with PLO political department chairman

Chairman of the PLO political department Farouk al- Qaddoumi has stressed that the Palestinian Intifada will continue until complete Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories.
In conclusion of his meeting on Tuesday with President of Mauritania Mu'aweya Wild Taye', al- Qaddoumi said that Mauritania's president stressed his support for the Arab initiative which aims at maintaining a just and comprehensive solution for the conflict in the Middle East.
Worthy mentioning that this is the first visit made by a high ranking Palestinian official to Mauritania since Mauritania established relations with Israel in 1999.
