Israeli embassy in Mauritania closed, temporarily

The Israeli TV said that Israel has closed its embassy in the Mauritania's capital Nouakchott temporarily and that the Israeli ambassador Freedy Eitman returned back to Tel Aviv after the end of his mission.

The Israeli TV added that Jadoun bin Ami headed for Cairo as a new ambassador to Egypt in succession to Lisfi Maz'il. Noting that Egypt has not yet informed Israel whether it will appoint an Ambassador for it in Israel in succession of Muhammad Basyouni who was summoned by Egypt after the escalated Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians since the beginning of the Intifada.
