Annual consultation on Moroccan-Japanese cooperation held in Rabat

A Japanese governmental delegation, led by higher assistant for economic cooperation, Kenichi Kawasaki, will be visiting Morocco October 2-5 to assess bilateral cooperation.

The mission is part of the annual consultations on cooperation between Morocco and Japan, a statement by the Japanese embassy in Rabat said.

The seven-member delegation will confer with senior officials from the departments of finance, economy, privatization and tourism, foreign affairs and cooperation and other ministerial departments, on activities conducted in the frame of the Japanese public assistance to development.

The two sides will also survey the situation of Moroccan macro-economy and will exchange viewpoints on the eradication of regional economic gaps and on sustained economic growth.

Talks will also cover four infrastructure projects to be carried out this year in the realms of training, irrigation, highways and rural electrification.
