Strong confrontations in the Palestinian territories, 2 Palestinians killed, 15 wounded
Amid news reports on Israel's withdrawal from Beit Jala to the surrounding of the city, the Israeli forces once again incurred into the city of Hebron where the Palestinians hurried to defend their city. Strong clashes erupted in which two Palestinians were killed and many others wounded. Heavy losses were also inflicted on the Israeli side.

Syrian military source: Syria is concerned with maintaining security on its territories
The United Arab Emirates UAE al-Khaleij ( the Gulf) daily quoted a Syrian military source as saying that Syria is concerned with maintaining security and stability on its territories and will not permit this security to be violated, noting this very concern does not mean that Syria is responsible for any threats to the American interests in the world.
