Israeli security official visits Amman

The Jordanian weekly Sheihan said in its recent issue issued on Thursday in an exclusive report that the chairman of terrorism- fighting in Israel Yahyam Sasoun visited Amman on Monday and met at the Israeli embassy with 20 Israeli businessmen who have factories and businesses in Jordan.

News reports said that the aim of the visit was to calm down the fears of the Israeli businessmen who are concerned these day, to a great extent on their personal safety after the killing of the Israeli Jeweler recently in Amman and the tense situation in light of the Palestinian Intifada.

The paper said that Sasoun explained to the Israeli businessmen and estimates of the situation recommend not to end the Israeli businesses in Jordan.
