The decision made in January to stop all cephalopod fishing activity spans three months from Feb. 1st through April 30, says a release of the maritime fisheries department. The department said the slump in prices was behind the move which will also help cephalopod stocks to replenish and protect bio-diversity. The Egyptian Ministry of Culture agreed on the establishment of five fairs for Egyptian archeology abroad which focus on Egyptian Coptic art in the Arab World Institute in Paris during May, and later in the French city Agd for three months starting in October. Two persons were killed and another eight wounded when a land mine went off while they were trying to dismember it in Saada city, northern Yemen. An official from the Yemeni police said on Sunday that the three victims had carried the mine, which dates back to the year 1992, to a nearby workshop to dismantle it, but its sudden explosion resulted in wounding several persons at the workshop, which was partially destroyed.
