A Sudanese committee to end conflict over governmental authority
Abd El-Rahim Ali, head of the Shura council in the Sudanese ruling National Congress Party, said the council decided in its urgent meeting last night to form a committee to end the dispute over authority among the ruling and interior bodies.
Ali said that the council decided to modify the party's main system and reform its bodies, including the bodies of its leadership front, to reach ideal performance.
The Shura council agreed on President El-Bashir's decision to impose a state of emergency on the country to be lifted when circumstances allow.
