Arab fury due to Israeli shelling of Lebanese school
Furious Arab reactions escalated yesterday toward the Israeli shelling of a school in Arab Salim village in occupied south Lebanon.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa expressed his country's fury toward the Israeli shelling of the children of Arab Salim school in south Lebanon, offering condolences from Egypt and the Egyptian people to the Lebanese people in this tragedy, due to which nearly 20 children aged less than 10 years old were injured. He demanded the application of the fourth Geneva Convention to protect the civilians in Lebanon.
Also, Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia denounced the shelling and depicted it as "inhuman" and "a tragic accident," as the Lebanese Hizbullah addressed a strict warning to Israel and Hasan Nasrallah, the party's secretary general, asserted that the resistance has run out of patience and that the party kept for itself retaliation for Israel's violations by shelling its settlements in northern Israel if it repeats the shelling.
