Paris hosts meeting on human rights evolution in Morocco
A meeting on the evolution of human rights in Morocco, the progress scored in the field of human rights and freedoms will be held in Paris next January.
The meeting is organized by the French-Moroccan friendship group which held an extraordinary general assembly in Paris on Thursday.
The group, which announced on the occasion the first activities planned for the year 2000-- mainly visits by newsmen, parliamentarians and businessmen-- said these initiatives are meant to foster the backing of French decision-makers and public opinion to the historic moves made by King Mohammed VI to give momentum to development, social progress and democratization.
The group called all Morocco's friends to mobilize to contribute to the success of this new phase, which is vital to the country.
