Palestinian - Israeli discussions to resume Sunday

Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat said that the joint Palestinian - Israeli committee for the transitional stage will convene a meeting on Sunday to discuss means of implementing the Sharm El-Sheikh note.

He said the Israelis are procrastinating in implementing the agreement especially concerning the second redeployment according to the note which calls for Israel's withdrawal from 5% from the West Bank.

Palestinian Minister of Culture Yasser Abed Rabbo presented a document concerning the settlement activities to the Israelis in which he said that Israel aims in its settlement policy to draw up new borders, rather than those comprised in UN Security Council resolution N 242.
