The Saudi official added, "It is difficult to give a result in this investigations, which are now covering others. Investigating al-Sayegh may lead to uncover new persons involved, especially as there are three other Saudis abroad the Saudi security forces are searching for having links to the explosion incident."

The US authorities handed over al-Sayegh on October 11 to the Saudi authorities, which accuse him of taking part in the monitoring operation which preceded the explosion in the residential complex for US military personnel, which killed 19.
