Report by Mubarak concerns Syrian stance in peace negotiations

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak received a detailed report from Foreign Minister Amr Moussa concerning Moussa's talks with Syrian President Hafez al-Assad and Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa. Moussa returned yesterday from a visit to Syria to put a limit to the coolness in relations between the two states, and Moussa conveyed a message from the Egyptian president to Syrian President Hafez al-Assad.

Moussa said the meeting with al-Asad tackled the future of the peace process in the area and expectations on the Syrian - Israeli track.
