Moussa expresses his country's support for Syrian stance in negotiations

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa depicted his discussions yesterday with Syrian Foreign Minister Farouk al-Sharaa as being important and as tackling topics related to Egypt, Syria, the peace process and the Arab world, adding that his discussions with al-Sharaa are very important and assure the importance of Egyptian - Syrian coordination and cooperation, especially in this critical stage in the history of the area.

This came in press statements in Cairo airport after Moussa's return from his quick visit to Damascus.

Moussa said regarding the seriousness of the Israel's commitment on a time frame to reach the final shape, "I think the Syrian decision of resuming the negotiations and al-Sharaa's decision to travel to Washington are proof that Syria feel seriousness from the other party."
