Women's solidarity meeting in Casablanca next January

The second women's solidarity meeting will be held in Casablanca next January 13-21 on the topic "Women, partner in rural development and struggle against poverty."

The meeting is meant to highlight the importance of women's economic role especially in the rural world and to promote the situation of rural women through development projects.

The event will provide women with the opportunity to trade their experience and to display and market their products.

Round tables will be held on some women-led associations and organizations and several cultural activities are featured.

The first such meeting was held last year on the occasion of the national solidarity week of struggle against poverty. The event is braced to become a tradition to help women solidarity activists reach their goals.
