Morocco ready for year 2000 bug

Morocco is ready for the year 2000 bug, said minister in charge of posts and information technologies Larbi Ajjoul in the government council held Thursday.

Ajjoul made an expose before his peers on the impact of the switch to the year 2000 on computerized systems, saying a special task force was dealing with the issue and that all technical measures have been made to protect vital institutions and activities and to cope with consequences within and outside the kingdom.
