The Kuwaiti minister of interior and head of the national committee for combating drugs, Sheikh Mohammed al-Khaled al-Sabah, said that the ministry's campaign to combat drugs resulted in catching 382 suspects with different citizenships in drug cases.

El-Khaled stated in the fifth meeting of this committee that the campaign will last with follow-ups on implementation of a national information campaign against drugs.

A statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior yesterday said the information campaign will start in mid-January and will focus on students in cooperation against drugs, adding that the information committee's work must be focused on advice and treating addictions so that the campaign would be effective.
