King Mohammed chairs Sahara follow-up committee meeting
King Mohammed VI chaired in Rabat Wednesday a meeting of the Saharan affairs follow-up committee, said spokesman of the royal palace Hassan Aourid.
The meeting probed unemployment and ways to boost economy and adopted practical and immediate moves to provide jobs for people in southern provinces and promote local trade and other economic activities.
The committee also looked into and decided to carry on scrutiny of legal and procedure provisions for the election of the Consultative Council for Saharan Affairs.
