Gas storage terminal in El Jadida

The first propane storage facility in Morocco is being completed in Jarf Lasfar harbor on the Atlantic ocean, 100 km south of Casablanca.

The 10,000 m2 facility with its three steel reservoirs will help supply 40,000 tons of gas as of the year 2000, becoming the largest gas storage facility on the continent.

The undertaking, worth 70 million FF, was financed by Moroccan (30%) and French (70%) private partners.
