German man arrested in Tangiers in possession of drugs

Moroccan police and customs agents arrested last week a German national who was trying to smuggle out 30 kilograms of chira.

According to the port authorities, the man was hiding the banned substance in the wings of his German-registered Volkswagen car.

Jessen Dieter, 32, is being investigated before appearing before a Moroccan court.
