Al-Rawabdeh: procedures against Hamas leaders are not against Palestinians or Hamas
Jordanian Prime Minister Abdul Raouf al-Rawabdeh said that the last Jordanian procedures against the leaders of the Hamas resistance movement in Jordan have nothing to do with the movement itself or with Palestine, but is about Jordanian citizens that should not have joined a non-Jordanian organization in the Jordanian territories.
While receiving Jordanian delegations yesterday from tribes that support the procedures against Hamas, al-Rawabdeh said, "Jordan will not allow anyone to make trouble or snub the Palestinian Authority, which we supported by all means to be able to establish the independent Palestinian state."
He added that Jordan "will not allow anyone to harm the Palestinians and the Palestinian Authority from inside the Jordanian territories."
