The real diplomatic battle between Syria and Israel, report
The London-based al-Wasat magazine has stated that the real diplomatic battle between Syria and Israel will, in the end, concentrate on the strip of land east of Tabaraya Lake.
In its most recent issue's analysis, the magazine said that the main complexity in the Syrian-Israeli negotiations is much more difficult than that of Sinai agreement and the Wadi Araba.
It is the problem stated frankly by Israeli General Uri Saguy, who is a candidate to assume the file of negotiations with Syria, in a lecture he delivered last month in Shafa Amrou, as he said: "The question of water is the most important in the negotiations with Syria, because the question of security arrangements is much easier, and this difficult problem can be only sorted out through the Turkish, Syrian and Israeli triangle."
