Arab League criticizes renewal of oil-for-food agreement for one week

The Arab League criticized today a resolution by the United Nations Security Council to extend the Iraqi oil-for-food program for one week.

The AL assistant secretary general for Arab affairs, Ahmed Bin Hali, said this decision assures that things concerning Iraq are in a dark tunnel and that it must see the light so that the crises will be solved.

He said that the to oil-for-food program was renewed each six months, but now it is renewed every one or two weeks, which shows that the USA is continuous in its domination of the UN Security Council and overlooking the resolutions of regional organizations.
