11 members of Algerian family killed

A family composed of 11 members was killed tonight by the Algerian Armed Islamic Group.

Algerian security sources stated yesterday that the family's members, who are Bedouins, live in the Sidi Mekhkef area south of the El-Aghwat area, 400 kilometers south of Algiers.

This massacre took place in an isolated area in which the family was living before relatives came yesterday to visit them and the bodies of the victims were found, among which were three women and three kids.

With this massacre, the number of those killed in violence related to Islamic groups increased to reach 60 this week and 200 since the beginning of last November.
