Armed men attack house of Kuwaiti minister of the interior

Four armed men opened fire in front of the house of Kuwaiti Minister of the Interior Sheikh Muhammad al-Khaled in the al-Ghantas area on Friday at dawn, and then they fled.

A statement released by the Kuwaiti Ministry of the Interior said the four men opened fire on the unit guarding the house of the Kuwaiti minister and then fled after they were chased and were forced to abandon a stolen car in which they were riding.

The statement said the car was found on Friday at noon in an area of al-Zaher south of the Kuwaiti capital.
