Moratinos: US is still committed to peacemaking in the Middle East
The European Union's Middle East peace process coordinator, Miguel Angel Moratinos, has asserted that the US is still strongly committed to sponsoring the peace process in the region.
In statements to the Paris-based weekly al-Muharrir news published today, Moratinos added that all information he has shows that the situation in the region will revive.
He continued that all steps taken by Europe, on all levels, are made in coordination with the US administration and that the EU member states are working to crystallize a formula that will not only contain the situation but will also make a breakthrough.
