Frustrating a smuggling attempt for a 200 valuable watches
Customs at Cairo Airport caught yesterday evening a passenger hiding 200 watches worth 70,000 Egyptian pounds inside his bags on his return from the United Arab Emirates.
During the end of the customs procedures for the passengers of an airplane arriving from Dubai, Mohamed Abu El-Mahasen, the manager of the customs suspected the passenger (a manager of one of the companies) as the watches were found in his bags.
The passenger expressed his desire to reconcile and to pay the decided forfeits in return for not pressing a criminal charge against him.
