Ninth agricultural exposition opened in Damascus

Syrian Minister of Agriculture Asaad Mustafa opened on Sunday the ninth central agricultural exhibition in Damascus.

In a statement to reporters the minister said the exposition reflects the development of manufacturing agricultural requirements of the public private and joint sector in Syria.

He stated that this development will "enable us to join the world market through the greater Arab free trade zone, the association partnership agreement with Europe, as well as other similar agreements signed with friendly countries."

The five-day exhibition aims at displaying all activities and developments of the agricultural sector in Syria.
