Israel continues besieging Lebanese town

The follow-up committee for supporting the question of the Lebanese prisoners in the Israeli jails has condemned the Israeli occupation forces' practices of torturing and carrying out suppressive arrests against the inhabitants of the Lebanese occupied town of Eita al-Shaab, the latest of which is the arrest of ten Lebanese citizens from the town.

In a statement the committee called for staging a national and official campaign in solidarity with the citizens of Eita al-Shaab town and Arnoun as well as to raise their issues in all international circles.

The committee also called upon all humanitarian organizations to organize a global campaign to ensure the release of the prisoners from Eita al-Shaab, of two girls from Arnoun town and of other Lebanese prisoners held in Israeli jails.
