Albright to visit Israel next week

Israeli Radio has said that US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and US Middle East peace process coordinator Dennis Ross will visit Israel separately, next week.

The radio report added that Albright and Ross, who will precede the US secretary of state's visit, will visit Israel and the Palestinian territories in order to become acquainted with the progress in the negotiations relating to the "final status" of the Palestinian territories.
