Iraq, Egypt to resume diplomatic relations

The Egyptian daily al-Joumhureyah on Wednesday quoted the chairman of supervising the interests of Egypt in baghdad Mahmoud Sharif as saying that diplomatic relations between Iraq and Egypt will be resumed shortly on the level of the embassy.
