Bouteflika discharges information minister and manager of television

Salouandji Tidjini, Algeria's acting minister of communications, information and culture, was discharged and replaced by Haba El-Akbi, the secretary general of the Culture and Communications Ministry, to perform the tasks of the communication service in the ministry.

A statement by the republic's presidency that was broadcast by the Algerian News Agency said today that Abdelkader El-Alami was also discharged from his post as the general manager of the national corporation for television and that Abdelmagid Sinmi was authorized as acting general manager of the corporation.
