Organization to be established in Algeria against normalization with Israel

Originally published

Algerian parliamentary sources have stated that party figures from the Islamic and national line are preparing for the formation of a front against normalization with Israel.

The sources said these personalities are fearing the question of normalization with Israel as long as the Algerian president did not form a new government and did not explain his Middle East policy. Added to all these, news reports are circulated about sidelines meetings held by Algerian officials with the Israelis.

Meantime, the chief of the Algerian National Reform Movement, Sheikh Abdullah Jabullah, condemned on Saturday the rush of some Arab states towards Israel.

In statements he made in a press conference in Algiers, Jabullah said he condemns that rush of some Arab countries, such as Mauritania, towards Israel.

Meanwhile, the secretary general of al-Nahda Movement, al-Habib Ademi, stated that Israel has usurped lands and persists in the act of usurpation. He asserted: "Therefore, we must cling to our right to boycott Israel, and we absolutely reject normalization before the restoration of Arab rights to their owners," SANA reported.
