Yemeni army for arresting men responsible for oil pipeline explosion
The Yemeni army has been cordoning two villages in the eastern part of Yemen in order to force persons who are responsible for exploding the oil pipeline of the US Hunt Oil company to surrender.
AFP quoted a Yemeni governmental source as saying on Monday that the army soldiers besieged the two villages in Wadi Habab, 140 km east of Sanaa, where those persons who committed the attacks fled, adding that those persons are from the Bani Jaber tribe.
The army, meanwhile, arrested 10 persons from the tribe in order to pressure those responsible for the explosion which targeted on Friday an oil pipeline in the region which is controlled by the tribe. The bombing resulted in a hole in the pipeline and oil leakage. Then the oil pipeline was repaired.
