Al-Majali reelected as Jordanian Parliament speaker

The Jordanian of parliament on Monday reelected Abdul Hadi al-Majali as a speaker of parliament for a second term. This was done in the session held by the parliament on Monday in the framework of inaugurating the new ordinary session of the Jordanian Nation's Council, which is composed of the Parliament speaker and al-Ayan council (the upper house). Al-Majali won by the majority of 50 votes out of 76 after four votes were canceled. His rival, Amjad Hazza’ had 26 votes.
