- In Sudan, floods covered the "Nahr al-Beibour" province of the Sudanese district of Jounfli as rainfall started on the province since the middle of this month until Saturday, October 23. The governor of Nahr al-Beibour said that the current flood is the first of its kind since 1964 and that it killed cattle, cows and wild animals, adding that the floods affected the hospital and a newly-built school.
