Petroleum discoveries in Mauritania

The Mauritanian newspaper El-Elm reported yesterday the approach of the start of digging for petroleum, stating that the Hardman Petroleum company for drilling petroleum recently sent Mauritanian engineers to Australia and South Africa to receive applied lessons regarding extracting petroleum.

The paper added that geological engineers Hussein Gabi and Omat Walad Ahmed will participate in December in digging the first well in an area west of the Mauritanian capital.

El-Elm newspaper is the newspaper most concerned with minerals as it preceded the rest of the Mauritania newspaper in holding many interviews with companies and administrations of the drilling networks through the Internet.
