Ministerial delegation in Laayoune

Originally published

A large ministerial delegation held on Wednesday in the southern Moroccan city of Laayoune a series of meetings to address social issues of inhabitants.

The issues of employment, housing and transport were among the major questions debated at meetings with unemployed graduates, local inhabitants and disabled persons.

The ministerial delegation -- including the ministers of the interior, of foreign affairs and cooperation, of social development and employment, of transport, of higher education, as well as the minister in charge of the government's general affairs -- is visiting the region upon the instructions of King Mohammed VI.

Idle graduates and students of the city took to the street last week to claim jobs, scholarships, more convenient transport means between places of residence and universities and other social claims.
