Discussions between Shaath and Jordanian foreign minister

Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdul al-Illah al-Khatib met yesterday in Amman with Palestinian Minister of Planning Nabil Shaath, as they discussed the latest developments in the peace process and Israeli - Palestinian negotiations on different important aspects of the Wye River accord.

In statements yesterday, Shaath said the discussions took place with the Jordanian foreign minister before he leaves Amman escorting Jordan's King Abdullah and tackled new developments in the Middle East peace process as a whole, in addition to developments on Palestinian - Jordanian relations in different fields according the instructions of King Abdullah and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.
