Morocco celebrates children's world day
Morocco celebrated Monday the children world day devoting this year's events to children's right to a clean and healthy environment. A nation-wide campaign is staged to inform and promote awareness of children and adults of key environment issues and achievements by Morocco in realms of legislation, enforcement, and funding of children related activities.
Morocco which ratified the international convention (no 138) banning employment of children at school age, has posted remarkable results both in enrolling more children in primary schools and drastically limiting the hiring of under-age labor.
