Mubarak takes his constitutional oath today

Egyptain President Hosni Mubarak today inaugurates officially his fourth term in the Egyptian presidency by taking his constitutional oath before members of the Egyptian Parliament in a special session following his victory in the referendum on September 25.

Mubarak won the backing of some 94% of the total number of voters who took part in the referendum, and their number was estimated according to official figures at 19 voters out of 24 million Egyptians who are of voting age.
