Israeli strikes continue against south Lebanon
News reports from the occupied part of south Lebanon spoke about Israeli moves on the front lines of the Hasbaya axis after Israeli army officers took Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militias out of the front positions, especially from Ein Qenya, Zaghla and Zemraya.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance said in a statement that one of its groups attacked on Tuesday Israeli moves in al-Tibeh project inside the occupied part of south Lebanon, using rockets. Another Lebanese resistance group attacked the occupation position in Tallet al-Sweida. Direct hits were scored in the attacks.
Intensive Israeli raids by warplanes and helicopters were carried out against al-Deidba district in the western Bekaa, south Lebanon. Lebanese security sources said the Israeli planes carried out raids against the Lebanese towns between 9:07 and 9:45 am.
The Lebanese sources added that Israeli warplanes and helicopters dropped during these raids more than 25 air-to-surface missiles. The sources continued that the Israeli raids coincided with intensive flights by spy planes and mopping-up operations against the same targeted area.
Furthermore, the Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of the western Bekaa, using mortars and heavy artillery.
Lebanese security sources said the occupation forces bombarded on Tuesday the outskirts of Qelya, the Litani river course, Zalaya valley, Jabal al-Daher and Abu Rashed mountain. More than 30 shells were fired against the targeted areas and resulted in heavy damages to properties.
