Iraq refuses any UN Security Council resolution

Iraq asserted on Monday its prior rejection to any decision released by the UN Security Council that does not include a lifting of the sanctions imposed on it. An Iraqi spokesman said his country will not be interested in any meeting which does not result in an effective response to its demands in condemning and halting the continued aggressions against its territories and lifting the embargo imposed on it due to US pressure.
