UNICEF condemned the September 15 shooting death of Dr. Ayub Sheikh Yerow in Somalia, as he was heading to an assignment to vaccinate Somali children. "Dr. Ayub's death adds one more to a growing list of casualties involving humanitarian workers courageously seeking to carry on life-saving missions in extremely dangerous situations," UNICEF said.
