Great Britain helps Morocco in waste processing plant
Great Britain has granted Morocco an assistance of 9,000 pounds for a waste processing unit in Sale (Rabat's twin city).
A statement of the British embassy in Rabat said the recipient is an intermediary that collects, processes and sells waste produced by the textile industry. The plant, which employs disabled persons, has projects to expand, depending on the commercial success of the first stage.
The British funds, part of small subsidies financed by the British department of international development, will cover the processing equipment cost, the purchase of a van to collect waste and electricity charges, according to the statement.
