Originally published

The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday continued their attacks against areas adjacent to the occupied part of south Lebanon.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli artillery on Wednesday morning bombarded al-Hajir valley and Litani river course.

The Israeli artillery bombardment coincided with heavy-machine gun fire opened from the Israeli positions in al-Salaa and al-Qasir against the surrounding woods.

During Tuesday night, Israeli war planes flew in the airspace of south Lebanon, carrying out mock and provocative raids over the eastern and central sectors.

On Wednesday morning, the Lebanese resistance attacked Israeli moves inside the Israeli occupation position of al-Qasir.

In a statement the Lebanese resistance said its men used machine guns and rockets in their attack and that direct hits were achieved.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Lebanese resistance destroyed an Israeli Merkava tank that was moving on al-Rayhan-Ein al-Kabira road in the eastern sector of occupied south Lebanon.
