Albright to Damascus tomorrow

US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright is to arrive in Damascus tomorrow morning on a short visit to Syria amid her Middle East tour. The director of US Cultural Center in Damascus told Syrian radio that following her arrival, Albright is going to meet with Syrian President Hafez al-Assad to discuss recent developments concerning the peace process on the Syrian track and developments to move the process forward.

Albright is expected to hold a press conference after her talks with President al-Assad and before leaving Damascus on the same day.
