US wheat aid to Jordan

An agreement on an extra donation was signed on Wednesday in Amman between the Jordanian and US governments, according to which the United States will provide some 200,000 metric tonnes of American wheat to Jordan at a cost of 24 million Jordanian dinars.

On the Jordanian side, the agreement was signed by the transport minister and acting planning minister, Naser Lawzi, and the US side was represented by the US ambassador in Amman, Nicholas Burns.
